F5 NETWORKS ADDING A HALF POSITION AT $USD 116.60

F5 Networks, Inc. is a provider of Application Delivery Networking (ADN) technology that secures and optimizes the delivery of network-based applications and the security, performance and availability of servers, and other network resources. The Company's principal products are application delivery controllers. These products balance traffic and performing compute-intensive functions, such as encrypting and un-encrypting transmissions, screening traffic for security threats, maintaining open connections with servers, speeding the flow of traffic, managing access to applications and data and a range of other functions that improve the security, performance, and availability of applications.

JUSTIFICATION We are adding a half position at $116.60. We last sold F5 in November 2016 at $137.00. Since then, the shares weakened on reduced growth estimates because telecom companies are spending less on capital expenditures to upgrade networks than expected. We believe F5 is a compelling investment at this low valuation because of the company’s strong financial position, excellent track record, low valuation and positioning as a possible takeover candidate. The Purple Chips 12 – 18 month target is $145.
